A number of Jamaicans are opting to spend more of their leisure time at home and with advance technology have found pastime on the indoors. But, a growing number are joining the ranks of the traditional garden hobbyists in forging a new relationship with their outdoor space. They have turned to sprucing up their landscape with the addition of ornamental plants and ornate fixtures.
Ornamental plant collection, in particular, and home gardening, in general, has been the new-found leisure pursuit of an ever-increasing number of hobbyists and professionals who for them the orchid is the loveliest, most exquisite, and the showpiece of ornamental blooms.
Noting this growing demand for beautiful orchids, Agro Grace has been offering a wide range of bare root orchid plants from world leading growers and exporters. We also offer technical support to our orchid growers in the form of training in the successful growing and care of the many imported varieties of orchids.
Consequently, Agro Grace hosted two well-subscribed All About Orchids seminars in Kingston and Montego Bay on September 29th and 30th respectively, bringing in experts from Thailand, along with our own Jamaican experts focusing on the primary aspects of growing beautiful orchids, including nutrition, water management, shade\light requirements, pruning, potting, repotting, and pest and disease management.
On that occasion, the company launched another exciting innovation, Paradise of Orchids, targeting the Agro Grace Gardener's Club members and other orchid customers. Paradise of Orchids is a competition to be hosted at Agro Grace's locations beginning early next year in Kingston and Montego Bay.

Fresh from Thailand, Taiwan, growing nation of a wide varieties of exotic orchids, and directly to Agro Grace will be a wider range of orchids, many new varieties, including Paphiopedilum, Epidendrum, in addition to the popular Sun Vanda, Shade Vanda, Mokora, Cattleya, Dendrobium, Oncidium, and Phalaenopsis. Also available will be Epidenium (Desert Rose) and Euphorbia (Crown of Thorns).
